I am a maker of metal things with a passion for utilising recycled metals. I have selected “beginner” as I have no professional training in metal work and I have a lot to learn, however I make and sell my work full time and have done so for several years. I have recently moved back from Australia where I predominantly made and sold knives, along with some other metal art and jewellery. I am just finding my feet back in Ireland and only have a very small space to work in right now which means I can’t run my forge..only blow torches at the minute (hopefully I’ll get a shed space sorted soon to get back to the forge!) this means I am working with mostly silver and copper and making predominantly jewellery for now.
